Bosnia-Herzegovina Premier League: Round 3 Review

Alen Dedic scored a 96th minute for Celik as they defeated Drina Zvornik 2-1. Karic had given Celik a 1-0 lead on 62 minutes but Ilic equalised for Drina 2 minutes later. The game looked to be ending 1-1 but Dedic struck to take all 3 points to the side from Zenica.

Radnik Bijeljina drew 0-0 with Velez Mostar in Bijeljina. The result continues Radnik’s unbeaten run and places them on 7 points, and it also continues Velez’s run of draws, as Velez have drawn every single game this season.

Mladost Doboj Kakanj needed a Borac own goal to draw 1-1 in Banja Luka. Borac led after 28 minutes with a goal from Jovic, but Runic scored an unlucky own goal to level the scores.

Stevo Nikolic scored the only goal of the game as Zrinjski Mostar defeated Travnik 1-0. The goal came on 62 minutes which maintained Zrinjski’s 100% record.

Damir Sadikovic scored a last minute winner as Zeljeznicar won 1-0 away at Vitez. The victory was Zeljeznicar’s first in the league this season.

Sarajevo had to come from behind to win as they defeated early pace-setters Siroki Brijeg. Wagner had given Siroki Brijeg a 9th minute lead, which they held onto until the 51st minute when Leon Benko levelled the scores. Stojcev scored the winner on 78 minutes to put the reigning champions in 4th place.

Rudar Prijedor drew 0-0 with Olimpic Sarajevo in Prijedor. Both sides pushed for a goal to break the deadlock but neither side were able to score.

Sloboda Tuzla won 1-0 away at Slavija Sarajevo thanks to a 39th minute goal from Mersudin Ahmetovic. The win was Sloboda’s second of the season.
